When Bob Dalton’s mother became homeless, he was moved to take action. After learning that shelters needed blankets, he launched Sackcloth & Ashes—donating one to a local shelter for every blanket purchased.

Our blankets begin in Prato, Italy, where discarded garments are hand-sorted, broken down by fiber, and spun into new yarn. Each one is a product of tradition, craftsmanship, and the belief that beauty can be made from what others throw away.
